The approximate weight of a beer pack is as follows:
- 12 beers is approximately 7.5kg
- 24 beers is approximately 15kg
Freight costs are charged per case (per 15kg). Freight rates are:
- $9.99 per case (NSW/ACT)
- $14.99 per case (VIC/QLD/SA)
- $19.99 per case (WA/NT/TAS)
A case is predominantly determined by the weight of goods ordered, but can also be determined by the size of the goods regardless of weight (e.g. glassware). As a guideline, a case could be made up of the following types of goods:
- 24 x 330ml bottles / 375ml cans; or
- 12 x 500ml bottles; or
- 10 x 750ml bottles; or
- 2 x 6 pack of beer glasses; or
- mix of 330ml, 500ml and 750ml bottles/cans of beer
