We received notifications form Australia Post that delays are recurring due to unforeseen circumstances once again:
"The previous extended lockdowns + recent train derailments are impacting some of our delivery operations. We are seeing relief now that these lockdowns are ending. Air freight capacity remains limited and our delivery network is affected by very high parcel volumes caused by increased online shopping activity.
The impacts of Covid-19 can mean that on any given day we may have hundreds of staff members out of our workforce while they follow necessary testing and isolation orders until they are given clearance to return to work.
It may take longer than usual to deliver your item and we apologise for any delays experienced. If the item is still not received after a further 15 business days please let us know by replying to this email. We know this is a long time to wait and are confident the article will be delivered before this time. We appreciate your patience allowing this time to pass before contacting us again."
